Fernbank Museum

While in Atlanta, we went to see the Fernbank Museum and got to see dinosaur fossils, polar bears and lots of other interesting things about Atlanta and Georgia. William's favorite was the dinosaurs. HE LOVES THEM! What a great time we had!

Dinosaurs, that's what I'm talking about!
Look out!
I got a fishy!
William and Lauren were pretty tired by this time. Can you tell?

Atlanta Braves Game/Visit with Adele & Julie

We recently went to Atlanta to visit Adele and Julie and got to go to a Braves game. William and Lauren loved it and it turned out to be a pretty good game. The Braves came out with a win 7-6 over the Nationals! Go Braves!

Kindergarten, Here I Come

My baby is growing up! William recently graduated from Pre-K and is ready for "big" school. He starts Kindergarten at Chelsea Park Elementary School in August. He is so excited and can hardly wait!

What a ham!

Lauren the Artist

What? Don't you like it? Lauren had a great time entertaining herself by using our family room wall as her easel.
This puts a whole new spin on Body Art! As I was blogging tonight, Lauren decided to create a masterpiece on her belly, especially her belly button! I will be cleaning it out for days!!!

Summer pool fun

William and Lauren enjoyed some fun in the shade while Ken and I worked in the yard. Great way to spend a Saturday!

Ok, take the picture quick so we can get to splashing!

Do you like my nails?

One of Lauren's teachers, Ms. Treesha, painted her finger nails for the very first time and she was so proud of them!

So pretty!

2008 so far in a nutshell...

The last four months have absolutely flown by! January was pretty much resting up from the holidays and getting organized for the new year. In February, we geared up for William's 5th birthday party. It was held at The McWane Center and everyone had a blast. There was a hands-on ocean animal experience and then after the party, all the guests played in the adventure halls.

After William's birthday, it was time for Lauren's 2nd birthday. We had an Elmo party at our house with family and friends. Lauren had a great time and loved the cake!

Elmo, can I have taste? Yummy!!!!

April has brought soccer and we are having a ball, no pun intended. William has amazed us! He is really quick and thinks on his feet. I think that he is a great defender and is one of the best strikers on his team. He just needs to go after the ball while in play and be a bit more aggressive. I'm sure that will come with time. Listen at that, I already sound like a soccer mom! HA!

Ready for action
